SoundCross-M consists of a few modules and uses the apt-X algorithm. It transmits high-quality audio signals from a studio, and they are used for outdoor broadcasting and relay broadcasting connected to each broadcasting station. It is a digital/analog multi-channel audio codec device which is connected to the 10 circuits of stereo digital audio signals or analog signals, condenses them into digital signals, and transmits the digital signals to a long-distance emitting device, and vice versa. It is used for mono or Stereo of FM broadcasting, HD radio and DAB.
SoundCross-M Features
- The bandwidth of its audio signals supports from 10Hz to 22.5kHz.
- It uses two E1s.
- The power unit and the trunk unit are duplicated.
- It has a function of dual transmission routes.
- It uses the analog signal or the AES/EBU signal, selectively.
- In-band Management over E1
- It can control or monitor a few devices using the Ethernet port.
- It has a level marking function on its front panel.
- It can control the receiving level at the analog receiver.
- It has a function of test-tone emission.
- It has a function of TPG emission.
- It has a function of audio and Network loop test.
- It has a function of generating audible signals.
